Hit the Poop Deck

There are really no words to describe what you are about to see. We had to switch planes in the middle of the day, while we were waiting up in the gate area for all the passengers to get off the First Officer (co-pilot) went down to do his walk around the aircraft, then returned with the following picture, just so we could all see what was waiting for us on board.

In case you’re having difficulty making out the image I will spare you the strain, it’s poop, yes, human poop, and no that is not the lavatory, it’s the galley floor, you know where everyone has to walk to get on and off the plane. Someone pooped while walking off the plane and didn’t even stop to offer apologizes. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, life takes a shit and proves you wrong. This is yet another reason to not walk barefoot on an aircraft, ever! Sorry to ruin anyone’s delusions about this still being a glamorous job. So next time you think you’ve had a shitty day at work, think again.
