So I’ve been MIA for a bit, but I’m back, and there is plenty of bad fashion to be had, and elephants to be spotted. So here in no particular order are some gems from the past year. It seems that the jumpsuit/unitard is making a comeback, and not in a good way at all.

The tie-dyed halter top onesie for all you who are missing the 70s disco glory days.

You thought unitards were just for dance class.

She did dress up the unitard with a lovely pink fur vest that looks like it was skinned from a muppet.

Seen in one of my favorite neighborhoods in London, Camden Town. If you ever get to this side of the pond, be sure to check it out. It’s a place where everything is out of the ordinary.

Hit the Poop Deck

There are really no words to describe what you are about to see. We had to switch planes in the middle of the day, while we were waiting up in the gate area for all the passengers to get off the First Officer (co-pilot) went down to do his walk around the aircraft, then returned with the following picture, just so we could all see what was waiting for us on board.

In case you’re having difficulty making out the image I will spare you the strain, it’s poop, yes, human poop, and no that is not the lavatory, it’s the galley floor, you know where everyone has to walk to get on and off the plane. Someone pooped while walking off the plane and didn’t even stop to offer apologizes. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, life takes a shit and proves you wrong. This is yet another reason to not walk barefoot on an aircraft, ever! Sorry to ruin anyone’s delusions about this still being a glamorous job. So next time you think you’ve had a shitty day at work, think again.

Chicken Flew the Coup

Unfortunately couldn’t capture the front of this outfit, but just imagine white ruffles down the chest. Very much like a chicken, or in truth, a yellow rooster. Perhaps because this was seen at an amusement park she reminded me of Big Bird.

Theme Dress

Now I will preface by admitting that finding fashion criminals at a Renaissance Festival is a bit like shooting fish in a barrel, however, there were some that were just wrong. I will also freely confess that I am in fact ‘one of those people’ that does dress up, but I like to think that I still keep it classy, the occasional chocolate covered frozen banana aside. I am a huge fan of themed attire and believe it can always be done well and in context, but there is just no excuse for what you are about to see.

This lovely little fellow was spotted on a layover in Bloomington, IL. He was part of the group of statues of the creepy little pervert children shown in a previous post (March 12th, 2009).

It’s hard to tell, but yes she is in fact wearing shorts under the shirt. The picture doesn’t quite due justice to the true color of those shoes, best described as ‘highlighter’

Is this fashion and I missed a memo or is it in fact a true crime against the eyes?

Another outfit seen at this same exhibit raises the question “is the babydoll making a comeback” and if so, when do we reach the point of ‘too short?’
